The Italian combo is always my favorite go to. I just love watching them freshly slice all of the salami and cheese made to order. The sandwich is also pretty decent priced at 13.50$ in comparison to other similar deli spots where it's more closer to $20! I also love the portion, it's not too much or too little but I do know I'll be full for majority of the day. You have to also try their homemade chocolate cookie. It's alway tempting to grab one right as they ask me if I would like anything else, yes a cookie please!
Always a great sandwich here. Lines are long but they move. Call your order in ahead if you can get through. They sell Torres black truffle potato chips! Highly recommended!
This is a very cute deli with a nice outside patio area. I ordered the pollo e pesto panini and it was great! The ratio of ingredients was perfect, the chicken was tender, the pesto was flavorful and not oily, the cheese was stretchy, and the sourdough was toasted and crunchy! I ate here around 2:30 pm on the weekend and the service was really fast. Definitely recommend!
So freaking good. I'm from New Jersey so whenever I move to a new town I look for an Italian deli and a good pizza place. The sandwiches here are delicious. Service tries to move quickly but there's usually a wait on the weekends because there's a line out of the door. So I usually call ahead and it's always ready on time.
If I won the lottery and opened a sandwich shop (my dream)... I'd want it EXACTLY like this! I visited them twice in 3 days. Dutch crunch roll is amazing. So many meats, cheeses, and spreads to choose from. Everything is very fresh. They have daily specials. Both times I chose to build my own sandwich. First was 1/2 peppered turkey and 1/2 pastrami with havarti cheese and horseradish mayonnaise on Dutch crunch roll with fixings (lettuce, red onions, pickle). Second time I chose garlic herb turkey with sharp white cheddar and roasted garlic aioli on Dutch crunch roll with fixings (lettuce, red onions, pickle). This place gets busy during lunch which shows you how much it's loved by its customers. They have a lot of helpful employees. It's nice and clean inside too. I also got a side of cheese ravioli in pesto. Yum!
I'm back for more, great food, great service. We usually eat outside, but it was raining so we sat inside. They have 2 tables inside that seat 4 each, never really noticed. We ordered: 1/4 lbs Red Potato Salad (3.5 Stars $6) Red potatoes, celery, green onion, parsley, mayo and maybe source cream. Good stuff!Mortadella and Salame Sandwich (4 Stars $4 extra meat charge + 11.75 = 14.75) on sour French, everything, add pepperoncini and sub roasted garlic aioli for Mayo. Everything was fresh, lettuce, tomatoe, pickle and red onion. They forgot the mustard, but it was still good. Roasted Turkey Italiano on Focaccia (4 stars $13.50) Lauren favorite, good stuff! San Pellegrino $3.50 Diet Strawberry Kiwi Snapple (2 Stars $3.50) I decided to give it a try, not as good as the peach or raspberry. Pecan Chewie (4 stars $3.00) Good stuff, flakey crust, good amount of pecans, not to sweet, good balance. Until next time...
Great sandwiches in this area. French bread tends to run out a lot so order early. Wish they didn't use sooo much mayonnaise in the sides but that's my opinion. Service is wonderful every damn time. Can get super busy.
The sandwiches here are number one in the Bay Area. You can taste the love. I like the bread options. The kind woman who takes the orders is so patient. The place is not fancy but there is a deli counter with a few seats in the front and in the back. I highly recommend ordering ahead and then heading to the beach.
